Xiaomi's CEO publishes photos taken by the Xiaomi Mi9 48MP Sensor

The Xiaomi Mi 9 is expected to be unveiled on February 24 at the MWC 2019 event in Barcelone. Recently, the smartphone has appeared in photos surfaced online where we could see the small notch on the front for the selfie camera, and rainbow reflection color on the back.
The latest information about the Mi 9 also indicates that it would be packed a triple camera at the back including a 48-megapixel main sensor supported by another 12-megapixel camera and a 3D TOF sensor.

The 48MP sensor should be the Sony IMX586, the same as the one already used by Honor for its View 20 and Xiaomi on his Redmi Note 7.

Today, Chuan Wang, The co-founder of Xiaomi published on his account on Weibo three photos captured with the Mi 9, and to be honest, the photos look stunning.

You can notice that the images have a watermark at the right bottom indicating that they were taken by the 48-megapixel sensor. Although the images were compressed, but the still can give us a hint about the camera quality.

The Xiaomi Mi9 is expected to have a 6.4-in AMOLED display, it will be powered by Snapdragon processor, 6 or 8 GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage, a Triple back camera, 12MP selfie shooter, and 4,000 mAh battery.
